Season Ticket Renewal Commonly Asked Questions
Q:) What are the payment options for season ticket holders?
A:) When a season ticket holder chooses to renew or has to select a payment option for next season they have 3 choices. They can choose to pay the balance in full on that day, they can pay the balance over 4 equal monthly installments beginning on June 1st or pay in 7 equal installments beginning on March 15th.
Q:) If I choose to pay for my tickets in full, when will the payment be processed?
A:) By selecting the pay in full option, your credit card will be charged immediately.
Q:) I am interested in transferring one or more of my seats to another person/business. What should I do?
A:) Season seat holders can transfer any of their seats to another person or business. There is no charge for this transfer. Once the transfer is complete, the new season seat holder will receive all rights and benefits associated with that seat and will be solely responsible for any associated balances. The new season seat holder will receive a new account number and will be placed on our seniority list as a new season seat holder.
Q: I have been a previous season ticket holder but do not currently have season tickets. Can I secure my old seats?
A: Priority on seat selection will go to our current season ticket holders. Once we have gone through seat selection with our current season ticket holders any new season ticket holder (in order of priority) will have the option to choose from the remaining seats.
Q: What is a small business membership?
A: A small business package contains season tickets as well as advertising options that work very well for small businesses looking to advertise with the IceCaps. The cost of the upgrade is $2,000 over the cost of your season tickets.
Q:) I would like to change the location of my season seats. Can I do this during the renewal process?
A:) Unfortunately, we are unable to change the location of your season seats at this time. We recommend that you renew your seats online and email email@example.com or call the Box Office at (709) 576-7657 to advise of your interest in relocation. Once the relocation process starts we will contact you and advise of what seats are available for you to choose from.
Q:) I am interested in purchasing additional seats for next season. How do I do this?
A:) Season Seat Holders who wish to purchase additional seats should indicate the number of seats that they are interested in purchasing in the additional seat deposit section of the season ticket renewal form. A $50 deposit per seat per year is required and the cost of the seat would be at the same current price level. There is no guarantee that additional seats can be acquired. If you are unsuccessful in acquiring an additional seat (s) your deposit will be transferred to your outstanding balance. If you do not have an outstanding balance your additional seat deposit will be refunded.
Q:) What is the benefit of season tickets?
A:) Besides having the same seat for each IceCaps home game IceCaps season ticket holders also receive other great benefits such as unique in game promotions, specially designed tickets, annual season ticket holder gift, 15% discount at IceCaps Alley, option to take your seat for the Calder Cup Playoffs, invitations to special events, best pricing, IceCaps Rewards offers, parking pass discounts plus much more.
Q:) What is IceCaps Entertainment?
A:) IceCaps Entertainment is a sports and entertainment company, formed by the St. John’s IceCaps hockey club. IceCaps Entertainment will bring sports and live entertainment events to Newfoundland and Labrador, and give IceCaps season ticket holders “front of the line” access to purchase tickets to these events before they go on sale to the general public.
Q:) What does “front of the line” access mean?
A:) “Front of the line” access is basically a presale. It means that you will get the opportunity to buy tickets to IceCaps Entertainment events before they are released for public on sale.
Q:) I have renewed my IceCaps season tickets for next season. Will this guarantee my seats to all events that come to Mile One Centre?
A:) No. As an IceCaps Season Ticket Holder you will only receive front of the line access to purchase tickets to events that IceCaps Entertainment bring to Newfoundland and Labrador.
Q:) I have decided not to renew my IceCaps season tickets for next season but would like to transfer my seats to a friend. What should I do?
A:) If you decide not to renew your seats and transfer your account to a friend you should contact the box office directly and do so before the May 1st deadline to avoid losing your seat location. In the case of a current 3 year season ticket holder transfer of seats the “new” season ticket holder(s) price would switch to a 1 or 2 year price structure. The new season ticket holder would also be given a new seniority number. There is no additional charge for a season ticket transfer.
