  • Roadrunners sign pair of defenseman 

    The Tucson Roadrunners, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, announced that the team has signed defensemen Michael Young and Michael Boivin to American Hockey League two-way contracts. The 27-year-old Young spent last season with the Roadrunners ECHL affiliate the Rapid City (SD) Rush where he appeared in 35 games with four goals, 14 assists and 18 points.     The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that forward Josh Holmstrom has agreed to terms on a one-year, American Hockey League contract for the 2016-17 season. Holmstrom, 26, returns to the Sound Tigers organization where he played last season and made his professional debut in 2014.     The Grand Rapids Griffins have signed forward Louis-Marc Aubry and defenseman Conor Allen to one-year contracts. Aubry, 24, enjoyed a breakout year with the Griffins in 2015-16 by setting career highs in points (12-17—29), goals (12), assists (17), penalty minutes (87) and games played (75).   • Phantoms ink Dekanich 

    The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, are pleased to announce that goaltender Mark Dekanich has been signed to an AHL contract. A 6'2", 192-pound netminder from North Vancouver, British Columbia, Dekanich spent the majority of last season with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL where he produced a 20-9-4 overall record in 35 appearances to go along with a 2.16 goals-against average and .925 save percentage. A fifth-round selection (#146 overall) by the Nashville Predators in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, he has appeared in 163 career AHL games (Milwaukee Admirals, Springfield Falcons, St. (more...)
