    Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced Thursday that the Pack has re-signed forward Shawn O’Donnell. Last season, in his second year of pro action, the 6-1, 192-pound O’Donnell suited up for 42 games with the Wolf Pack, contributing three goals and three assists for six points.   • Canucks re-sign Baertschi 

    Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced Tuesday that the Canucks have re-signed forward Sven Baertschi to a one-year, one-way contract. Baertschi, 22, appeared in two playoff games as well as three regular season games with the Canucks, where he registered two goals (2-0-2).   • IceCaps unveil new jerseys 

    The St. John’s IceCaps Wednesday unveiled new jerseys for the team’s first season as the American Hockey League affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, during an event at Jack Byrne Arena in Torbay. The new jerseys – modeled by IceCaps President and CEO Danny Williams and new head coach Sylvain Lefebvre – are virtually identical to the ones currently worn by the Montreal Canadiens but feature the revised, original IceCaps logo with Canadiens logos on each shoulder.   • Pittsburgh acquires Clendening from Canucks 

    The Pittsburgh Penguins, parent club of the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, have acquired defenseman Adam Clendening along with forward Nick Bonino and a 2016 second-round pick from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for Brandon Sutter and a 2016 third-round pick.Clendening, 22, made his NHL debut with the Chicago Blackhawks on Nov.   • Backman signs AHL deal with Ontario 

    The Ontario Reign, primary affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, have signed right wing Sean Backman to an American Hockey League contract for the 2015-16 season, Reign Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced on Monday. Backman, 29, will remain with the Kings’ AHL affiliate for a third consecutive season after helping the Manchester Monarchs capture the Calder Cup during the 2014-15 campaign, posting 44 points (19-25=44) and 34 penalty minutes in 76 regular season games, and adding an additional 17 points (5-12=17) and eight penalty minutes in 19 postseason contests. The Cos Cob, Conn.
