    Nick Holden’s goal at 2:18 of the extra period gave the Springfield Falcons a 4-3 win over the St. John’s IceCaps Saturday night in AHL action in stormy Massachusetts.

  • IceCaps set for New England clashes 

    Fresh off a 3-2-1 homestand, the first place St. John’s IceCaps look to continue their success on the road when they take on the Springfield Falcons (Columbus Blue Jackets) and Providence Bruins (Boston Bruins) this weekend.

  • Pirates oust IceCaps to split series 

    As the saying goes, you can’t win ‘em all. The St. John’s IceCaps came out flat in the third period and fell 5-2 to the Portland Pirates Wednesday night in front of the largest crowd of the year at Mile One Centre.

  • IceCaps Sign Tommy Maxwell 

    The St. John’s IceCaps announced today they have signed forward Tommy Maxwell to an AHL contract and have assigned him to their ECHL affiliate Colorado Eagles.

  • IceCaps sink Pirates 

    Things couldn’t have gone much better for the St. John’s IceCaps Tuesday night at Mile One Centre. With Winnipeg Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff on hand at Mile One Centre, the IceCaps put on a show and defeated the Portland Pirates 5-1 in front of a fifth straight capacity crowd.

  • IceCaps tame Sound Tigers 

    St. John’s takes three points from Bridgeport in weekend series. Saturday nights have been kind to the St. John’s IceCaps so far this season. The IceCaps won their third straight contest on a Saturday night with a 4-3 victory over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at Mile One Centre.

  • Sound Tigers bite IceCaps in overtime 

    The first overtime game in IceCaps history didn’t end the way fans at Mile One Centre wanted it to. Jeremy Colliton scored the winner with 2:16 remaining in the extra frame to give the Bridgeport Sound Tigers a 4-3 comeback victory over the St. John’s IceCaps.

  • Park and ride to continue on trial basis 

    The St. John’s IceCaps are pleased to announce that the Metrobus Park and Ride program will continue to run on a trial basis through the October 21st – October 22nd weekend.
