Single game seats for post-Christmas games on sale Nov. 26 Posted by IceCaps on

The St. John’s IceCaps are pleased to announce that single game tickets to post-Christmas games go on sale Saturday, Nov. 26.

Tickets to the remaining 22 IceCaps home games will be available as of noon Saturday at Mile One Centre Box Office. Only 500 tickets per game remain, as fan response to the return of the American Hockey League has been outstanding.

“We’ve been very pleased with the tremendous response from the fans,” said Glenn Stanford, the team’s Chief Operating Officer and AHL Governor. “To date, all of our games have been sold out, which is a tremendous accomplishment. The American Hockey League has certainly taken note of the attendance in our building.”

To continue that trend, the IceCaps are introducing ‘Celebrate The Holidays With Us.’ During the four home dates in December, the IceCaps are planning special events, to help pay tribute to the fans who have made this season successful today.

Celebrate the Holidays with the IceCaps, Dec. 6 and 7 against the Syracuse Crunch and Dec. 9 and 11 against the Worcester Sharks.

The Syracuse series will see the home team wear its dark jerseys in a reverse jersey promotion. In addition, there will be other surprises in store for those games.

“We will have several ways for the St. John’s IceCaps to say thanks to the fans who have taken us to 10 straight sellouts,” Stanford said. “St. John’s is one of the league’s smallest markets, and we know our fans are very proud of that sellout streak. It shows the pride the community has in our team.

“These are the last series we will play before Christmas. When we say Celebrate the Holidays with the IceCaps, we want to do it in style.”

As of Saturday, tickets can be purchased at the Mile One Centre box office in person from noon to 5 p.m. daily, by calling (709) 576-7657 or 1-800-454-5555, or by visiting
