Priority AHL Ticket Sales for Previous Ticket Holders Conclude Friday
As of 5:00 pm Friday, June 17th, priority ticket reservations will conclude for previous AHL, Fog Devil and Mile One Hot Seat ticket holders.
Since the launch of the ticket reservation on June 11th, more than 80 per cent of tickets have been sold as season tickets.
“Ticket sales to-date clearly demonstrate that the people of the province are very excited to welcome professional hockey back to Newfoundland and Labrador, and we are delighted with the response from our outstanding hockey fans” said Glenn Stanford, COO of the new St. John’s AHL team. “We felt very strongly that previous ticket holders be rewarded for their loyalty by affording them an opportunity to secure priority seat selection for season tickets. We want to remind any remaining former ticket holders that they have until 5 pm today to ensure they secure that priority as we move into the seat selection phase.”
Anyone interested in reserving season tickets for the new St. John’s AHL team can do so by visiting AHLisback.com and complete the reservation process. Individuals registering are reminded to ensure they complete the full process under the PayPal system in order to ensure proper registration.
The first segment of season ticket sales began on Saturday, June 11 at noon and was for individuals willing to make a three-year commitment. On Tuesday, June 14th at noon, ticket reservation opened to individuals preferring to make less than a three-year commitment. Former AHL, Fog Devil and Hot Seat ticket holders receive priority seat selection. It is important to note that only a deposit of $50 per seat per season is required to register. The first season will be required to be paid prior to the start of the season, and payments for years two and three will not be required until the start of those seasons in 2012 and 2013, respectively. The deposit, which must be made to secure seat selection, will be applied against the total cost of season tickets.
Information on the seat selection process will be made in the coming weeks.
