Park and ride to continue on trial basis
The St. John’s IceCaps are pleased to announce that the Metrobus Park and Ride program will continue to run on a trial basis through the October 21st – October 22nd weekend.
The Park and Ride program allows hockey fans to take a Metrobus to and from Mile One Centre for St. John’s IceCaps home games from two locations in the capital city. The trial for last weekend’s games was a success, so the program will be available for the two games this coming weekend: Friday October 21st and Saturday October 22nd versus the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
The cost to use Park and Ride is $3 per game, payable only before the game. Exact change is required as drivers do not carry change. Buses will run at regular intervals from two locations: Confederation Building and Bowring Park. Shuttles will start at 6:30 both nights, and will return customers to their vehicles after the games conclude.
