Jets reassign Machacek to IceCaps
The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have re-assigned forward Spencer Machacek to the St. John’s IceCaps.
Machacek, 23, played in two games with the Jets since his recall on Jan. 30/12. He will return to the IceCaps where he has played 44 games this season for 34 points (11g, 23a) and 40 penalty minutes.
The Lethbridge, AB native has now played in 14 career NHL games. He was originally drafted in the third round by Atlanta, 67th overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
