IceCaps reassign Carrozzi to Ontario Reign

The St. John’s IceCaps today announced they have reassigned goaltender Chris Carrozzi to the Ontario Reign of the ECHL.

Carrozzi, 22, played in two games with the IceCaps since his recall on Mar. 27. He recorded a 1-1-0 record, 3.50 goals against average and 0.877 save percentage. He will return to Ontario where he has played in 29 games this season earning a 17-6-4 record, a 2.27 goals against average and a .922 save percentage.

He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the sixth round, 154th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
