ST. JOHN’S, NL (July 3, 2016) – Montreal Canadiens and St. John’s IceCaps General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the IceCaps have re-signed defenceman Josiah Didier to a one-year American Hockey League (AHL) contract.

The 24-year-old Littleton, CO native collected five assists and 58 penalty minutes in 53 games with the IceCaps last season and registered a goal and four penalty minutes in four games with the ECHL’s Brampton Beast.

The six-foot-three, 218-pound rearguard was signed to a one-year AHL contract last summer after completing a professional try out contract (PTO) with the Canadiens’ AHL affiliate in Hamilton.

IceCaps season tickets are now on sale. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Mile One Centre box office (noon-5 p.m.), by phone at 709-576-7657 (noon-5:30 p.m.), or online at www.mileonecentre.com.
