IceCaps Care donates to Ronald McDonald House Posted by IceCaps on
The St. John’s IceCaps are pleased to announce that IceCaps Care and Williams Family Foundation have made a $5,000 donation to Ronald McDonald House.
Glenn Stanford, IceCaps COO and Governor, made the presentation this afternoon at the location of the only Ronald McDonald House in Newfoundland and Labrador, 150 Clinch Crescent.
“IceCaps Care and the Williams Family Foundation are proud to help support such a wonderful cause as Ronald McDonald House, which will help people all across Newfoundland and Labrador,” Stanford said. “One of the mandates of IceCaps Care is to help organizations that reach all areas of the province, and this is a prime example.”
Stanford and Trevor Murphy, the IceCaps Director of Community Partnerships, made a $2,500 cash donation to Ronald McDonald House, which was represented by Christine Morgan and Rose Daley. The remainder of the donation came through in-kind contributions.
The IceCaps Care Foundation is pleased to offer its support through in-kind donations or financial grants to registered charitable organizations which focus their activities on educational initiatives, health and wellness or youth programs.
