IceCaps announce change in game time

Nov. 25 contest vs. Providence delayed due to Santa Claus Parade

The St. John’s IceCaps have changed the starting time for its Sunday, Nov. 25 home game against the Providence Bruins.

The game was originally slated for a 4 p.m. start at Mile One Centre. However, with Nov. 25 being the day of the annual Downtown Santa Claus Parade, the club has moved this game to a 6 p.m. start.

This change will allow IceCaps fans to attend both the parade and the game, and also help avoid too much traffic congestion.

Metrobus, which operates a Santa Shuffle service for the parade, will continue with its Park and Ride program for the game that evening.
