Super Swede: G Niklas Svedberg was the recipient of a slew of AHL honours in his rookie season including the Baz Bastien Trophy for the league’s top goaltender, after posting a 37-8-2 record with a 2.17 GAA and a .925 SV%. Svedberg was also chosen to play in the AHL All-Star Game in Providence and was selected to the AHL’s First All-Star Team and All-Rookie Team.
